Coach to Bourg d'Oisans/Alpe d'Huez
Snow Express runs a direct coach to Bourg d'Oisans. The coach stops at VFD bus station in Bourg d'Oisans. For those wishing to travel onwards to Alpe d'Huez, there is a local bus from Bourg d'Oisans bus station to Alpe d'Huez resort. The local bus is provided by 'Transisere' and takes approximately 40 minutes from Bourg d'Oisans to Alpe d'huez. The timetable is online to view here. You must arrange your own onward travel, Snow Express does not travel to Alpe d'Huez.
The Snow Express coach leaves from London Victoria Colonade Coach Station with an additional collection point at Stop 24 Services in Folkstone.
The special February Half Term service departs London at 17:30hrs on Friday 10th February, arriving in resort at approximately 13:15hrs on Saturday 11th February. The return journey leaves resort at 18:45 on Saturday 18th February, allowing you a full day on the slopes. It arrives in London 11:30 on Sunday 19th February.

Alpe d'Huez Resort
Alp d’Huez is the main resort in the Grandes Rousses Massif, sitting at an altitude of 1,869m. It's considered one of the largest ski areas in the world, famous for sunshine and great snow. It is also very well known around the world for the 21 bends on the road leading to resort, one of the most well-known and iconic stages of the Tour de France. Alpe d’Huez is split into ‘quartiers’; quartier des Vieil Alpe,is the most residential, quiet and traditional, quartier des Jeux is the busiest, home to the majority of bars, shops and restaurants and the modern quartier Bergers has the majority of self-catered apartments and a smaller number of bars and shops. A lively, sunny town with great skiing for all levels.
Alpe d’Huez ski area reaches the grand height of 3,330m and is now one of the largest ski areas in the world with 249km (155 miles) of linked ski pistes and 84 ski lifts. Nicknamed ‘island of the sun’ Alpe d’hueze averages 300 days of sunshine a year. Despite its blue bird weather Alpe d’Huez experiences higher than average snowfall – can’t ask for more! Home to the longest black run in the world, vast off piste and almost 80 beginner slopes, this huge ski area is suitable for all levels.
