Our coaches have a good amount of luggage space, but it is not unlimited. Recently we have had some passengers bring so much luggage that it has delayed loading and caused significant discomfort to our passengers.
We are Snow Express, it is owned and run by keen skiers so we know how important it is to bring your kit out, however we have to apply some limits.
1 medium sized case (Height 70cm x Width 30cm x Depth 45cm max weight 20kg)
OR
1 x dufflebag /rucksack up to 80 litre max weight 20kg
OR
1 x snowboard bag max weight 20kg
AND
1 small piece of hand luggage (inside the coach),
1 ski bag & boot bag.
Snowboard Bags
Which double up as a suitcase. It's quite simple, if 50 people turn up with these then 15 won't be able to get on the coach! If you bring a snowboard bag that's packed full of other gear too (the typical rectangular bag with handles & wheels) then that is all your luggage allowance. You cannot expect to put any other bags in the bus apart from a small carry-on bag. If you are a group of boarders then take the bindings off, then you can get 10 boards in 1 bag, and put your personal gear in a rucksack or holdall.
Hold Alls
We have had people turn up with bags they can hardly lift, that would completely full the boot of a small hatchback! 80 litres is more than enough for a ski holiday people.
Suitcases
You're not on a round the world cruise! 70cm x 30cm x 45cm should be plenty of space for lots of skiing kit & party kit.
Ski Bags
If you bring skis then it is 1 pair of skis, that's all. If you are competing in the World Championships then let us know - maybe you can take a few extra pairs then.
We are sure that you all understand why we have to have restrictions, so our advice is travel light, travel happy!
