Coach to Tignes

Snow Express runs a regular coach service to Tignes Les Lac, Les Brevieres and Val Claret every week throughout the season.The coach leaves from London Victoria Colonnade Coach Station with an additional collection point at Stop 24 Services in Folkstone.

The coach travels overnight from Calais, making comfort stops en-route, to our northern interchange point. After a brief stop the coach will carry on to Tignes.  We have stops at Tignes Les Lac and Tignes Val Claret and the drop of and pick up points can be seen on the map below.

For customers travelling to Tignes Les Brevieres there will be a change at Bourg Saint Maurice to use the local transfer bus service to Tignes Les Brevieres, this is included in the price of your Snow Express ticket. 

We only use luxury executive coaches which meet our high standards for comfort and safety. During the journey we make regular stops to change drivers and an opportunity to use the toilet and stretch your legs. Tignes Resort

Tignes is a purpose built ski town that offers so much skiing and snowboarding that it is almost unbelievable. Tignes is part of one of the world's largest ski areas and France's largest ski area known as 'Espace Killy.' It is also linked to the ski resort, 'Val d'Isere.' Being purpose built, Tignes offers convenient skiing with guaranteed snow cover. The 3656m Grande Motte, reached from Val Claret by an efficient but often crowded funicular or by a long two-stage quad-chair, is open for 10 months a year.

Tignes-le-Lac has a beginner half-pipe as well as an expert one, a snow-cross course and assorted obstacles. Tignes has two dedicated freeride zones - each known as Le Spot. One of these has fixed locations and equipment to practise the use of avalanche equipment.
